MyCU Digital Banking Agreement

DIGITAL BANKING END USER AGREEMENT

Please read carefully and print a copy for your records.

  1. Blue Eagle Credit Union's Digital Banking Product is provided as a service of Blue Eagle Credit Union and permits access to member account information and, upon request, allows account transactions to be conducted. By accessing Blue Eagle Credit Union's Digital Banking service you verify that you are the account holder or you have full legal authority granted by the account holder to obtain information and conduct transactions.

  2. An authorization method (username and password, Touch ID, Face ID, Fingerprint) is required in order to access Blue Eagle Credit Union’s Digital Banking service. You authorize Blue Eagle Credit Union to follow any instructions entered through Digital Banking using any of the provided authorization methods. You are responsible to make sure that authorization methods are maintained in a secure manner and not disclosed to any person who is not authorized to obtain account information or conduct transactions on your account.

  3. Blue Eagle Credit Union and any other companies or entities involved in the design, development or operation of our Digital Banking are not responsible and shall not have any liability for any loss, expense, injury, cost or damage resulting from any access obtained to account information or any transactions conducted on any account which occur prior to notice by you to Blue Eagle Credit Union that an authorized method may have been disclosed to or obtained by any unauthorized person.

  4. If you use any method of storing an authorized method on your computer, mobile phone, tablet, or other device (furthermore referred to as devices) you are solely responsible for any access obtained to account information or any transactions conducted on any account. If you have reason to believe that an authorized method has been disclosed to or obtained by an unauthorized person, you are required to immediately notify Blue Eagle Credit Union.

  5. In order to use Blue Eagle Credit Union's Digital Banking service, you are required to use browser software which utilizes appropriate security protections. You must use the latest version of Chrome, Safari, Opera, Firefox, Microsoft Edge, or Microsoft Internet Explorer 11 (IE 11). MyCU supports members using IE 11 at this time, but it is highly recommended to use a more modern and secure browser from the list above. Browser and device support is subject to change to meet industry standards. For iOS devices, you must use iOS 10 or higher. For Android devices, you must use Android Lollipop (v5.0) or higher. These requirements may change at Blue Eagle Credit Union’s discretion as new versions/devices are released. If you fail to use the designated browser/device software, Blue Eagle Credit Union and any other entities involved in the design, development or operation of Blue Eagle Credit Union's Digital Banking are not responsible for loss, expense, injury, cost or damage resulting from any access obtained to account information or any transaction conducted on any account.

  6. When connected to or using Blue Eagle Credit Union's Digital Banking service, you are required to ensure that no unauthorized persons have access to your devices. If you fail to maintain direct control and supervision over your devices or otherwise fail to ensure that no unauthorized persons have access to your devices when connected to or using our Digital Banking, Blue Eagle Credit Union and any other companies or entities involved in the design, development or operation of our Digital Banking are not responsible for any loss, expense, injury, cost or damage resulting from any unauthorized (non-authorized) access obtained to account information or any transactions conducted on any account.

  7. By accessing, you acknowledge that you have read the terms of this agreement and that you agree to be bound by these terms, including the provisions which state that Blue Eagle Credit Union and any other companies or entities involved in the design, development or operation of Blue Eagle Credit Union's Digital Banking Product are not responsible for any loss, expense, injury, cost or damage resulting from any access obtained to account information or any transactions conducted on the account.

Online Privacy Statement:

This statement provides information about privacy related to usage of our website. For information about privacy practices in connection with accounts and services we provide (including online banking), refer to our Privacy Notice. Our general website does not gather personal data from visitors. However, we may use web analytics services to help us analyze site usage and improve the user experience. These services do not collect personal information about a user. Rather, they employ "cookies", which are files placed on your computer to generate information about your use of the website. The cookie provides information about your use of the website (including your IP address), which is transmitted to us or to our analytics provider. You may set your browser to refuse cookies, but if you do so, not all features of this site may be fully functional for you.

Our mobile app and your location data:

Our mobile banking app periodically collects, transmits, and uses geolocation information to support features that prevent fraudulent card use and alerts, but only if you expressly authorize collection of such information. You may choose whether geolocation information can be monitored on a continuous basis in the background, only while the app is being used, or not at all. You can change your location permissions at any time in your device settings.
